Richard Money has completed his second signing of the day with the arrival of front man Nicke Kabamba on loan from Havant & Waterlooville for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old former Portsmouth striker joined The Hawks during the summer and has featured in every National League game for them this term, hitting the net five times in the process.
Kabamba made his name during an eye-catching spell on the books at Hampton & Richmond which persuaded Pompey to pay an undisclosed fee for his services at the start of 2017.
Having played in League Two as they sealed promotion under Paul Cook, the hard-working front man gained further senior experience from loan moves at Colchester United and Aldershot Town last term.
“We’re really pleased,” admitted Money.
“To be honest, when I got the text that he could be available we jumped at it really quickly because he fits the identity of something we’ve been looking for.
“He’s over 6ft, he’s quick and he has a pretty good goalscoring record so I’ll just be telling him to come and enjoy his football for three months and let’s see where it takes us.”
Kabamba has been handed squad number 29 at The Super 6 Stadium and will now be in contention to feature for Pools for the first time at Harrogate Town on Saturday.
