Pools Women’s Team will aim for a fifth straight win this weekend when they make the trip to take on Harrogate Town at The CNG Stadium on Sunday (2pm kick-off).

The high-flying outfit returned to New Year action with a battling 1-0 triumph over Farsley Celtic last week and will hope to build on that at Harrogate.

The hosts are new to the NERWFL Premier Division having won back-to-back promotions in the last two seasons and they’ve recovered from a slow start to the current campaign to sit fifth in the table.

However, Pools have won seven of their nine fixtures so far this term and have only tasted defeat against runaway leaders Durham Cestria so will be aiming to further bolster that impressive record on Sunday.

Pools ran out 6-3 winners when the sides locked horns at Grayfields in September but Harrogate have beaten Bradford City and York City in their last two games so will approach the fixture with confidence too.

Entry to the game at The CNG Stadium is free for all supporters.
