Hartlepool United Women’s Team return to action for the first time in 2019 on Sunday when they play host to Farsley Celtic in the NERWFL Premier Division at Grayfields (2pm kick-off).

Craig Devon’s high-flying outfit haven’t played since thrashing Castleford White Rose 11-0 in early December but will hope to pick up where they left off this weekend.

Pools kick-off the New Year sitting second and 15 points behind Durham Cestria, though they do still have three games in hand on the runaway leaders so hope remains they can keep the pressure on.

Sunday’s opponents Farsley Celtic have suffered a frustrating campaign so far by their standards – having finished fourth last term, the West Yorkshire side sit down in seventh ahead of the weekend.

The game at Grayfields Enclosure on Sunday is free entry to all supporters so make sure you get along and give your backing to our Women’s Team if you’re able to.
