We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Saturday’s National League meeting with Maidstone United at The Super 6 Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Richard Money will have Jake Cassidy in contention for the first time on Saturday after he returned from loan spell with Maidstone United on Thursday.

The Pools boss will also hope to have Andrew Davies back available to him this weekend after the skipper has been forced to miss the last two games through injury.

Kenton Richardson was substituted at half-time on New Year’s Day due to illness so will be assessed, while Harvey Rodgers (thigh) and Conor Newton (hamstring) will also need evaluation.

Luke Williams is making steady progress in his recovery from a second knee operation but is still a little way from a return to training.

Maidstone United caretaker duo Tristan Lewis and Simon Walton will remain without full-back Dan Wishart as he continues a three-game suspension after being sent-off last weekend.

The Stones must make a decision in attack also where they will be without Cassidy following the Pools forward’s recall from that loan spell at The Gallagher Stadium.
