We’re delighted to announce that Director of Football Craig Hignett will be the Guest Speaker at our Annual Sportsman’s Dinner to raise funds for the Club’s Academy.
Hignett is a well-established and well-respected speaker on the circuit, sharing hilarious tales about his playing career with the likes of Middlesbrough, Barnsley, Blackburn Rovers and, of course, Pools.
As well as hearing from Hignett, we’ve also lined-up top comedian Mick Monroe as further entertainment for the event which is to be held at the Corporation Club on Friday 22nd February (7.30pm).
“This event raises vital funds to keep the Academy in operation,” explained Academy Manager John Hewitson.
“Although we have some key and valued partners who support us loyally year on year, this plays a massive part in bridging the gap that we have in our funding at the moment.
“We had a brilliant night last year with Jeff Stelling and I’m sure that this one will be just as good so hopefully plenty of Pools fans can get along to support the Club and the Academy.”
Tickets for the night, which will be hosted by Jeff Winter, are available now from the Club’s Ticket Office and Main Reception, priced at just £15 which includes pie and peas.
