The Club's Community Sports Foundation have launched a new
programme to allow local businesses to help support their multitude of activities
As a charity, the Community Sports Foundation aims to make
sport and physical activity accessible to all people within the community,
regardless of age, background, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and
economic circumstances.They focus on the importance of physical activity and the
benefits it can provide in terms of mental health, health fitness and
socialising opportunities, whilst also benefiting the community as a whole.A whole range of projects taken on by the Foundation include
targeting anti-social behaviour in young people, working with Veterans and
tackling loneliness and inactivity in older people.The new Friends of the Foundation scheme is aimed at giving
local businesses the opportunity to support this crucial work in the community
for just £600 per year, which can be paid annually or instalments.As a Friend of the Foundation you'll not only be playing a
key role in maintaining the delivery of key services in the community but you'll
also be eligible to claim:- 2 x tickets to a Pools game of your choice (subject to availability)
- The promotion of your company (and its values) on the Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation website page, Programme page and social media
- A team building/fitness session for your employees
- Opportunities for your employees to volunteer in the community
Not only will you be supporting the Hartlepool Business
Awards 2019 Community Award winners, but also going some way to meeting your
Corporate Social Responsibility targets, strengthening and improving your brand
