Victoria Park Returns In New Deal With The Prestige Group

2 August 2019

The Club is delighted to announce that Chairman Raj Singh's company The Prestige Group has extended its support by taking on the stadium naming rights for the next twelve months.

As part of the deal, we're pleased to confirm that the stadium will revert to being referred to as Victoria Park, sponsored by The Prestige Group.

“It is yet another demonstration of the Chairman'scommitment to the Club and the town,” commented Chief Executive Mark Maguire.

“It's great that, as we kick-off the brand new season, we can return to the name of Victoria Park – not that it every really went away for the fans.

“As we move forward we will always be looking to combine our

respect for the history and identity of the Club with the commercial necessity

of seeking deals which allow us to be ever more competitive on the pitch.”

The Prestige Group, which operates a number of care homes and also have a construction arm known as P & R Construction, take over the naming rights following the expiration of the Club's deal with Super 6.

There is a possibility that the agreement with The Prestige

Group will extend beyond the initial twelve months, whilst main sponsor Utility

Alliance will also have an enhanced presence at the stadium for the new season.

“There are a number of conversations taking place with

potential new partners so things are continuing to develop at an encouraging

pace on and off the pitch at the Club,” added Maguire.
