Team News: Torquay United v Pools

29 August 2019

Craig Hignett still has several players unavailable him due to

injury ahead of Saturday's National League fixture against Torquay United at

Plainmoor (3pm kick-off).

Nicke Kabamba took a fresh knock to his ankle during the

draw at Chorley last weekend and the front man missed the win over Wrexham and remains

a doubt to return at Torquay.

Myles Anderson received four stitches in a head wound

suffered at Chorley and is a doubt to make the trip to Plainmoor, while Niko

Muir is receiving treatment for the hamstring injury he sustained in the same

game.

Luke Molyneux (leg) and Luke Williams (knee) are both still

sidelined, while Kenton Richardson is stepping up his recovery from ankle

trouble though Saturday's game will come too soon.

Torquay boss Gary Johnson must decide whether he needs to

make any changes after seeing his side pegged back to a 2-2 draw at Barnet last

week after holding a two-goal half-time lead.

Ruairi Keating is pushing for a starting spot after coming

off the bench at The Hive, while Opi Edwards will hope to return after he

missed the Bank Holiday Monday fixture.
