Team News: Pools v Bromley

15 August 2019

Craig Hignett is continuing to battle against a lengthy injury

list ahead of Saturday's National League meeting with Bromley at Victoria Park

(3pm kick-off).

Nicke Kabamba missed Tuesday's game against AFC Fylde with

an ankle injury and the front man will be assessed once again before the weekend

to see if he is fit to be part of the squad.

Myles Anderson and Luke Molyneux are still working their way

back to fitness but Saturday may come too soon, while Josh Hawkes and Kenton

Richardson are both still sidelined.

Luke Williams hyperextended his knee in training and so missed

the midweek game – it's not the same knee which required surgery last season

but the injury does mean he remains a doubt for Saturday.

Gus Mafuta passed a late fitness test on a foot injury to

feature against Fylde and will be monitored ahead of Saturday, while Aaron

Cunningham picked up a niggle in the game and will be assessed.

Bromley boss Neil Smith will run the rule over Recco

Hackett-Fairchild after the striker was forced off against Torquay United last

weekend and missed their midweek win at Aldershot Town.

Adam Mekki came in to the side in his place against The Shots,

while Adrian Clifton and Jordan Higgs will hope to press their claims for

starting spots for the trip to The Vic this weekend.
