Pools fell to their second successive defeat of the new season as two second half goals secured victory for FC Halifax Town at The Shay Stadium.
Craig Hignett's men enjoyed plenty of possession during the contest but were made to pay for not making the most of it as The Shaymen continued their 100% start to the fresh campaign.
