Craig Hignett is delighted that Pools
get such a quick opportunity to wipe away the disappointment of the weekend
Sutton United took all three points on
the opening day at Victoria Park on Saturday but Pools boss Hignett has insisted
that there is no time for his players to feel sorry for themselves.A relentless schedule during August
will see Pools play no fewer than eight times and Hignett says that gives them
the perfect chance to put the result against Sutton firmly behind them.“It's nice to get a game so close sothat we can go and try and put things right,” he admitted.
“That's the beauty of this time in
the season because the games come thick and fast – if you're winning then you
want to play again and if you've lost you get a chance to bounce back.“We had a good chat with the players
on Monday morning and had a little look back on some of the footage from
Saturday and then did some work on the back of that.“It's out of our system now so we
won't be going to Halifax down in the dumps or anything like that – we'll be
rolling our sleeves up and going there ready for a tough game so it can't come
quick enough.”Click here now for more information on buying tickets for Tuesday night's game.
