Tickets And Travel Guide For Barrow Game

20 April 2019

Here is some useful information for Pools fans heading to our game at Barrow on Easter Monday.

Travel

By Car
Leave the M6 at Junction 36, onto the A590 and follow signposts for Barrow. You will enter Barrow via Park Road and when you pass the fire station on the right, take the next left onto Wilkie Road. The ground is on the right-hand side. Post code for Sat-Nav is LA14 5UW.

Parking
The club operates a car park for home and away supporters, with spaces available on a first come, first serve basis. There is a £2 charge for the car park.

The car park is off Holker Street, please do not enter the car park on Wilkie Road unless you have previously arranged a parking space with the club.

To reach the car park, follow the directions above but continue to the traffic lights when you see the stadium on your right. Turn right at the lights and look for a car repair garage on the right-hand side, the car park entrance will be visible immediately afterwards.

By Train
The nearest station, Barrow-in-Furness, is approximately 1/2 Mile away from the ground. On leaving the station, exit onto Holker Street and turn right. The ground will be on your left-hand side after a small roundabout at the top of Holker Street.

The station is served by trains from Carlisle, Lancaster, Preston and Manchester.

From The Town Centre
The ground is a 20 minute walk from the town centre. Various taxi companies are available as well, whilst the Number 3 bus from the Town Hall passes the ground. This runs every 12 minutes.

Tickets
There will be no match day ticket sales for Pools fans. All tickets are now sold out and fans without one are urged not to travel.

Turnstiles
There will be three turnstiles in operation for Pools fans, which will be open from 1:30pm.

One turnstile at Gate D will be open, as well as two turnstiles at Gate E.

Terraced ticket holders can use any of these turnstiles.

Seated ticket holders must use the turnstile at Gate D.

Stewards will be on hand to direct supporters to the correct turnstiles if needed.

Using Your Tickets
Visiting supporters must have their Eventbrite ticket printed out or loaded on their mobile phone before arriving at the turnstiles, unless prior arrangements have been made with the club.

This ticket will be scanned on entry by the turnstile operator.

Any supporters who are unable to produce their match ticket when they arrive at the turnstiles may face delays entering the ground, or even be denied entry.

Food and Drink

Away Bar
Pools supporters will not be able to access our club bar on match day. However, we have arranged for a bar to be available to visiting fans in the away end. This will be open when the turnstiles open at 1:30pm.

Food
A catering van will be available in the away end for Pools supporters, serving a range of burgers, hot dogs, chips and other hot food.

A range of pies will be available at our away supporters bar too, as well as a selection of chocolates, crisps and snacks.

There are various places to eat around the ground, with the “Owl & The Pussycat”, a Hungry Horse restaurant, located a two-minute drive away.

Drinks
In addition to the away fans bar, a range of soft and hot drinks will be available from both the bar and the catering van.

Match Day Programmes
Our Matchday Programme will be available in the away end, priced at £3.

We take a look at past clashes between the two teams and reveal the players in current Barrow and Pools squads who have represented both teams in their careers.

Matchday Raffle
Matchday raffle tickets will be on sale next to the turnstiles, these cost £1 each with a top prize of £75 up for grabs!
