Team News: Pools v Salford City

25 April 2019

We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Saturday's season finale against Salford City at The Super 6 Stadium (12.30pm kick-off).

Craig Hignett has no new injury worries ahead of the weekend but must decide whether to make any changes following Easter Monday's disappointing defeat at Barrow.

Carl Magnay has been building fitness following his knee operation but may not be risked in the final game, while Aaron Cunningham and Luke Williams will both definitely remain sidelined.

Josh Hawkes shook off a thigh injury to make an appearance from the bench at Holker Street on Monday and the young midfielder will hope to challenge for a starting place against The Ammies.

Salford boss Graham Alexander has an almost fully-fit squad to choose from ahead of their visit to the North-East, though Jack Redshaw does remain in the treatment room.
