We take a look at all the latest info from both camps ahead of Saturday’s game at The Shay Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Matthew Bates will be without Ryan Donaldson for the trip to FC Halifax Town after the midfielder was forced off with a hamstring problem during Saturday’s draw with Eastleigh.

However, initial reports show that the injury is not as bad as first feared and Donaldson could be back in contention as early as next weekend.

Andrew Davies has continued to step up his training after recovering from an ankle injury but Saturday’s game against The Shaymen will come too soon for the skipper.

Luke Williams is also facing more frustration as a knock picked up in training last week looks likely to keep him sidelined again for the weekend.

Halifax boss Jamie Fullarton has been without the services of right-winger Ben Tomlinson (knee) since the start of the month and midfielder man Josh Staunton is also out with ankle trouble.

Former Pools star Michael Duckworth is on the books at The Shay Stadium but hasn’t played since August after suffering a hamstring injury.
