More New Academy Signings Announced

We meet some of the most recent signings to have been introduced to the Club’s Academy as John Hewitson and his staff continue to develop young talent.

Harry HarveyHarry Harvey (Under 9)
Promising youngster Harry was signed-up by Pools following successful trial with the Club. Previoulsy he’s played for Improtech and Washington FC and currently attends Ropery Walk Primary School. A big Sunderland fan, Harry can operate in midfield or attack.

Will FrenchWill French (Under 9)
Registration forms were signed for Will after he produced some fantastic performances for the Club. A very promising winger, he attends Kirklevington Primary School and is a big Middlesbrough supporter.

Mason SlaterMason Slater (Under 9)
Another recent signing to impress the staff is promising youngster Mason. A highly-regarded goalkeeper from Lockwood Primary School, he also enjoys kickboxing, running, reading and tells us he’s a Liverpool fan.

William RamseyWilliam Ramsey (Under 9)
William was signed by Pools after impressing during a trial period with the Club. A midfielder who supports Sunderland, he attends Argyle House School and has been named Manager’s Player of the Year for two successive seasons at his previous club.

Sam WorthSam Worth (Under 10)
Another recent arrival in to the Academy, Sam earned his place after producing some excellent goalkeeping displays whilst on trial with the Club. A former Seaton Carew Lions player and a Hartlepool lad, Sam attends Fens Primary School and is a massive Pools fan.

Zak KershawZak Kershaw (Under 11)
Zak did enough to win a deal with Pools after impressing during a pre-season trial at the Club. A pupil at Lumley Junior School and a Newcastle United fan, Zak is a promising defender who also enjoys running when he’s not playing football. 

Joel GreigJoel Greig (Under 13)
Joel arrived at the Club on trial after coming highly recommended. A pupil at English Martyrs School, Joel is from the town and previously played for Hartlepool FC where he proved a big success and score lots of goals.
