Pools Women’s Team face another big game this weekend as they host NERWFL Premier Division newbies Harrogate Town Ladies at Grayfields Enclosure (2pm kick-off).

Craig Devon’s side moved up to fifth after last week’s dramatic late win at Farsley Celtic saw them leapfrog their hosts in the table.

However, Harrogate are more of an unknown quantity having been promoted from the North East Regional Southern Division on the back of a second successive league title last term.

The North Yorkshire outfit have also made an encouraging start to the new campaign, having won four of their first six outings to sit joint top of the table alongside Durham Cestria.

Pools – who have three games in hand on this Sunday’s opponents – will hope to move within three points of their visitors with a second successive victory this weekend.

Sunday’s game kicks-off at 2pm and entry to Grayfields Enclosure is free to all supporters.
