A Pools XI will be in friendly action on Tuesday evening when they make the trip to face Shildon at Dean Street (7.15pm kick-off).
Ged McNamee will take charge of the squad – which has a mix of First Team and Youth Team players – for the friendly meeting with the Northern League Division One outfit.
Conor Newton is included in the travelling squad after missing out on Saturday’s game through ill and other senior squad members will get minutes under their belt in the fixture.
“It’s a good opportunity to get some match fitness for some of the First Team lads,” explained boss Matthew Bates.
“With not being in a Reserve Team league this season we will take the chance to organise these kinds of games when we can because it’s useful for the lads to keep on top of that fitness.
“As well as that, it’s another good opportunity for the Youth Team players to experience men’s football so it’s a positive exercise all round.”
Former Pools player and coach Micky Barron is the current Assistant Manager at Shildon, while several players in their squad used to be on the books at The Vic.
Admission prices for the game are £4 for adults and £2 for concessions, while Under 12s are free entry alongside a full-paying adult.
Pools: Catterick, Young, Miller, Cunningham, Murphy, Anderson, Richardson, Webster, Newton, Hawkes, Hawkins, Boyle, Rennison, Willoughby, Pritchard, Dinanga, Scott, Fox.
