Pools star Nicky Featherstone has won the Club’s Super 6 Goal of the Month award for the second month in succession.
The midfielder picked up the most votes once again during September to scoop the prize for his spectacular left-foot drive in the win at FC Halifax Town two weeks ago.
He held off close competition from front man Niko Muir, whose superb lobbed effort in last week’s draw with Aldershot Town finished in second place.
Featherstone also won the award during the opening month of the campaign after scoring a delicate chip in the win over Maidenhead United.
The Super 6 trophy will be presented to Featherstone by Geoff Newton - who was one of the Pools fans to vote for him - prior to Saturday’s game against Boreham Wood.
