We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Saturday’s game at The Super 6 Stadium (3pm kick-off).
Matthew Bates has no new injury worries as he prepares for the weekend’s National League fixture against Boreham Wood.
The Pools boss remains without Luke Williams who has undergone a minor operation on his right knee which will keep him out for the next four weeks or so.
Carl Magnay was substituted with a knee problem during last weekend’s draw with Aldershot Town but the defender has trained as normal since and will be available for selection on Saturday.
Boreham Wood boss Luke Garrard had a number of players missing during their 4-2 home defeat to Harrogate Town at the weekend and he will hope to have some of them back to face Pools.
Danny Woodards and Mark Ricketts were both injured in the previous game at Eastleigh and will be assessed again ahead of the trip to the North East.
Angelo Balanta and Reeco Hackett-Fairchild were also sidelined on Saturday after failing late fitness tests but the duo will hope to be back in contention.
