Hartlepool United Kicks Under-12s were in action against their Middlesbrough counterparts on Monday night as part of a new HUCSF initiative.
Middlesbrough Kicks U12 v Hartlepool United Kicks U12
Monday 1st October 2018
Kick-off: 6pm (ish)
Attendance: very cold and loyal parents!
On Monday night we were invited to play a 9-a-side game against Middlesbrough FC’s Kicks U12s team at Kader FC in Middlesbrough.
Line up for Hartlepool United:
Holly James (Goalkeeper)
The team had never trained or played together before (and some didn’t even know each other!) and so did exceptionally well.
There was some amazing talent on display and great attitudes and enthusiasm shone through. The players all really enjoyed themselves and hopefully we will be looking to organise more games in future.
Manager Keith Nobbs was proud to be in charge of such wonderful young people and each one represented the Club brilliantly both on and off the pitch.
Thank you to Middlesbrough FC for their hospitality.
Goalscorers for Hartlepool:
Player of the match went to Holly James who was spectacular in goal and pulled off some outstanding saves.
Our Hartlepool Kicks sessions are aimed at reducing antisocial behaviour and we run free turn up and play sessions each Tuesday and Friday at Brierton Sports Centre which are open to all. We are always looking for new players.
5pm-6.30pm: 11-15 year olds
6.30pm-8pm: 16-24 year old
The Community Sports Foundation (HUCSF) are able to run these sessions thanks to the backing of Hartlepool United, The National League Trust and The Premier League Charitable Fund.
