Matthew Bates has made three changes to his starting eleven for this afternoon’s National League game against Dover Athletic at Crabble Athletic Ground (3pm kick-off).

The Pools boss has restored Peter Kioso and Myles Anderson to his line-up but there is no place for Andrew Davies who is set to spend up to four weeks on the sidelines with a calf injury.

Up front Tyrone O’Neill’s goal from the bench in the midweek FA Cup replay against Gillingham is enough to earn him a starting spot alongside Luke James.

Conor Newton did not travel due to illness.
