We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Wednesday evening’s FA Cup First Round replay against Gillingham at The Super 6 Stadium (7.45pm kick-off).

Matthew Bates will have further defensive options available to him for Wednesday’s replay when Andrew Davies and Carl Magnay both return to contention after bans.

Davies has now completed a three-game suspension following his red card at Wrexham, while Magnay returns after a one-game ban for reaching five yellow cards.

Midfielder Luke Williams remains the only injury absentee for Pools as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.

Gills boss Steve Lovell will assess the fitness of Callum Reilly after he missed their weekend defeat at Oxford United with a groin problem but it is hoped he will be fit to face Pools.

Other than that, the visitors have a clean bill of health ahead of their long journey north but must decide whether to make changes following the 1-0 loss at The Kassam Stadium.
