We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Sunday’s National League game against Barnet at The Super 6 Stadium (4.30pm kick-off).

Matthew Bates will be without Carl Magnay who serves a one-game suspension this weekend after reaching five National League bookings.

Andrew Davies also remains sidelined as he completes a three-game ban but Peter Kioso returns to contention following his one-match suspension.

Luke Williams is the only injury absentee for Pools as he fights his way back from knee surgery which is expected to keep him out for around four to six weeks.

Barnet boss John Still bolstered his attacking options last week with the signing of front man Mohamed Bettamer and he made his first appearance in their FA Cup draw with Bristol Rovers.

The 25-year-old is now in line to make his Bees National League debut on Sunday having scored a late equaliser against Pools for Braintree Town back in August.
