Hartlepool United Ladies will secure a top-three finish in the North East Regional Women’s League Premier Division if they beat Farsley Celtic at Grayfields on Sunday (2pm kick-off).

After a convincing 3-0 win over York City at The Vic last weekend, Andy Stuart’s team will look to build on that when they welcome the West Yorkshire outfit to Hartlepool.

Another victory would help keep the pressure on second-placed Durham Cestria and leaders Norton & Stockton Ancients who remain five points in front but meet each other on Tuesday.

Pools have won seven of their last eight games so will approach Sunday’s meeting with fourth-placed Farsley high on confidence, knowing a draw would be good enough to cement their spot in the top three.

Kick-off is 2pm on Sunday and entry at Grayfields is free to all fans.
