Sunderland have now officially recalled Michael Ledger from his loan spell at Pools and allowed him to join Norwegian outfit Notodden FK on a permanent deal.
The centre-back arrived at Victoria Park on loan at the end of August and made his debut in the 3-1 home win over Maidstone United.
Ledger went on to make a further ten appearances in Pools colours but was unfortunate on the injury front as a broken nose as well as back and groin complaints limited his match action.
Recently, the 21-year-old returned to the Black Cats for treatment and during this time a deal was brokered for him to move to Scandinavia, prompting his recall from The Vic.
The Club would like to thank Michael for his efforts and wish him all the best for his future career.
