Pools Final World Cup Prediction League

5 July 2018

Our World Cup Prediction League came to an end after the group stages of the competition and, just like the drama in the football itself, we had some late action in the league standings.

After leading the competition from the first day, Jason Perring and The Leatherhead Lip were pipped at the post by Nathan Godfrey’s Egg Fried Reus, who stormed through to the top of the final league table.

There was also movement at the foot of the table as Stockton Poolie picked up the points to finally move out of bottom spot.

Leading the way for the Pools’ entries into the competition were Chief Executive Mark Maguire and defender Carl Magnay, who shared seventh spot with 35 points.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the prediction league and congratulations to our winner!
