Over 500 Pools fans turned out at Victoria Park on Thursday as the Club held an Open Day to unveil the brand new kits for 2018/19 and take the official squad photograph.
The brilliant response from supporters meant for a fantastic afternoon at The Vic as the players walked out wearing the new blue and white home kit, alongside two young fans chosen to model the away kit!
Once the main squad photograph was taken, we invited members of the Board and then some Club partners to join the players for a picture before then including all the supporters in our Big Team Photo.
Afterwards, the players and staff joined supporters behind the EDC Neale Cooper Stand where the Club had laid on inflatable games and attractions – and there was plenty of time for autographs and selfies too!
“It was a fantastic turnout and everyone seemed to be having a great time,” said boss Matthew Bates.
“I think it was a brilliant idea to bring everyone together like this before the season starts because if we are to have success in the future then we all need to be pulling in the same direction.
“It was nice for the players to meet the fans and see for themselves what this Club means to them – everyone was so supportive and positive, we just can’t wait to get out on the pitch and try and do them justice now.”
The new home and away shirts are on sale from the re-opened Club Shop at The Vic and also from our new Online Store – click here to place your order now.
