Every Point Counts - Harrison

Craig Harrison brings us his thoughts after seeing Pools pick up a point at Chester this evening.

“When you’ve gone ahead, you’re always going to be disappointed to be pinned back,” Harrison told Pools PlayerHD after the game.

“I know it’s a bit of a broken record but it’s another sloppy goal that they’ve not really had to work too hard for. The lad has finished it well but we have got to deal with it a bit better than that.

“We obviously came into this game to win it but every point is a positive point at this moment in time. We have got to be positive in this situation, there’s no room for negativity in my mind.

“You’ve got to flip it and be positive, stick together as a group and let’s go and see if we can get three points on Saturday.

“A point tonight is a point extra on the board and we need as many as we can get. If we’ve got to go back to battling our way out of it then we’ll have to roll our sleeves up and do that.

“The fans were fantastic again, I think they appreciated the effort the lads put in tonight. Like I said, I knew when I came to the Club they were special but they’re proving on a weekly basis just how special they are.”
