Hartlepool United Ladies will be seeking their third successive win on Sunday afternoon when they host Tynedale Ladies at Dyke House (2pm kick-off).

February has been a good month so far for Andy Stuart’s side as they first saw off Wallsend Ladies 3-2 before turning on the style to thrash Castleford White Rose Ladies 12-0 last weekend.

The winning run has helped them close the gap on second-placed Norton & Stockton Ancients Ladies to just two points, though Pools have currently played two games more than their rivals.

Having coasted to victory last time out, Andy Stuart’s team will know they face a much stiffer task on Sunday against a Tynedale outfit who sit just three places and four points behind Pools in the table.

However, confidence should be high given their recent form and another victory would help make things very interesting at the top of the North East Women’s Football League Premier Division.

Entry to the game at Dyke House on Sunday is free to all supporters so make sure you get along and support our Ladies in action if you can.
