A young Pools Reserve Team will make the trip to face York City in the Central League at Bootham Crescent on Tuesday afternoon (1pm kick-off).

Matthew Bates will once again lead a squad made up predominantly of Youth Team players, though Ryan Catterick, Josh Hawkes and Liam Travers are set to start against The Minstermen.

The Reserves fell to a 3-0 defeat at Bradford City last time out and Bates will be hoping that his youngsters can enjoy better fortunes in their latest encounter.

City are currently bottom of the North Division having lost all six of their games so far this season, while Pools are three places above with six points on the board.

We’ll have a full report here on the Official Website following the final whistle at Bootham Crescent.

Pools: Catterick, Boyle, Owen, Bayne, Holliday, Pritchard, Hawkes, Orrell, Robinson, Weirs, Travers.
Subs: Lawrence, Short.
