We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Monday’s National League meeting at The Super 6 Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Matthew Bates will run the rule over Luke Williams after the new signing was forced to sit out Saturday’s win over Dagenham & Redbridge through illness.

The Pools boss has no new injury worries prior to Monday’s game but will remain without skipper Andrew Davies as he continues his recovery from ankle ligament trouble.

Chesterfield Manager Martin Allen won’t be able to call upon Jerome Binnom-Williams as he completes a three-game suspension following his sending-off at Barrow.

Sam Wedgbury also picked up an injury in that 3-2 defeat at Holker Street and remains a doubt to face Pools, while Charlie Carter is definitely sidelined for around a month after hurting his ankle in last Saturday’s defeat at Salford City.

Former Pools star Michael Nelson has started every game since joining The Spireites during the summer, while Haydn Hollis is pressing his claims for a debut after joining on loan from Forest Green Rovers earlier this week.
