Take Part In Our Golden Games Project

24 August 2018

Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation is currently running a Golden Games project, which is funded by the Enriching Later Life fund managed by County Durham Community Foundation.

The aim of the project is to provide more opportunities for older people (over the age of 60) to get together and take part in sport and physical activity whilst increasing health and wellbeing and reducing isolation and loneliness.

And now we would like to hear from you.

What sort of activities would you like to take part in? Yoga? Tea dances? Coffee mornings? Walking football? The possibilities are endless.

We will be aiming to run weekly activity sessions as well as monthly social events. Some of these will take place at The Super 6 Stadium whilst others may involve trips further afield.

If you would be interested in attending sessions, have any suggestions for activities or would like to volunteer please contact Sarah Rowntree on s.rowntree@hartlepoolunited.co.uk or call 01429 862595.

Alternatively you can drop your contact details into Sarah at main reception at The Super 6 Stadium.
