Legendary local band, The Milgrams, have produced a promotional music video to raise vital funds for the Hartlepool United’s Academy.
The band, renowned for their lively renditions of punk, Indie and Ska classics, filmed their promotional charity video of the Sham 69 classic ‘If The kids Are United’ at a dirty Hartlepool coal yard.
The remastered 70s classic music video, released in time for the start of the 2018/19 football season, has been released on major music platforms iTunes, Google play, Amazon music and YouTube, with help from The Friends of Hartlepool United FC and the Club’s Media Department.
Having already received 11,000 views on The Milgrams Facebook page, The Milgrams drummer, Allan McPhail, commented: "It’s been a great experience recording the track and producing the video on location in the town. The reaction to it and the support it has received has been overwhelming."
A spokesperson for Pools said: "The new football season is a fantastic time for supporters to get behind the track and to help raise funds for the town’s future sporting stars coming through in our Academy."
