Hartlepool United Supporters’ Trust (HUST) made a presentation to the Club’s Community Sports Foundation at The Vic on Saturday.
Prior to the game with Torquay United, Andy Wilson from HUST presented Keith Nobbs and Maureen Smith from the Foundation with a cheque for an impressive £1027.50.
The Supporters’ Trust held a reunion night last month to bring together the Pools squad of 1992/93 who knocked Premier League outfit Crystal Palace out of the FA Cup.
The event, which was held at the Catholic Club in town, raised over £2000 on the night, with the profits being split between Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation and the Trust.
“We are very grateful for the support from the Trust and it was even better than the money was raised through a memorable night with the players from 1993,” Nobbs told us after the game.
“We have lots of projects and activities going on in the community and this donation will help us to continue the work that the Community Sports Foundation do locally.”
