Pools Youth Team are back in action on Thursday morning when they host Doncaster Rovers in the Youth Alliance League at Blackhall’s Welfare Park (11am kick-off).

Ian McGuckin’s youngsters will be looking to build on Tuesday’s brilliant away win at Burton when they return to home soil for the latest fixture in a hectic end-of-season schedule.

Pools will line-up unchanged from the team which started the game against The Brewers, with Liam Pritchard continuing to step up his recovery from a virus with a place on the substitutes’ bench.

“We did lots of good things in the game on Tuesday and we’ve got to make sure we do them again today,” McGuckin told us.

“The lads know the games are coming thick and fast so we have to keep working hard and hopefully we can enjoy a productive end to the season.”

Kick-off at Welfare Park is 11am and entry is free for all supporters.

We’ll have a full report and reaction here on the Official Website later on Thursday.

Pools: Stephenson, Holliday, Miller, Owen, Cooper, Bayne, Boyle, Orrell, Weirs, Robinson, Jackson.
Subs: Lawrence, Pritchard, Rennison.
