Matthew Bates has made one changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s National League game against Guiseley at Victoria Park (3pm kick-off).

Devante Rodney is selected in attack alongside Jake Cassidy, with Rhys Oates having to be content with a place among the substitutes.

There is also a boost for Pools with the news that Ryan Donaldson returns to the squad for the first time since October – the midfielder is on the bench after recovering from ankle surgery.

Former Pools defender Darren Holden is part of Guiseley's starting eleven, while winger Ellis Hudson has been handed his debut after arriving on loan from Bradford City.
