Pools boss Craig Harrison celebrates the win

Craig Harrison said the players deserve all the credit after another hard-working display earned them an impressive win at Leyton Orient on Saturday.

Goals either side of half time from Jonathan Franks and Rhys Oates saw Pools come from behind to claim all three points at Brisbane Road and extend their unbeaten run to five games.

“It’s another fantastic result,” Harrison told Pools PlayerHD.

“If I am being honest for the first twenty minutes or half an hour Leyton Orient played really well and had us on the back foot.

“We dusted ourselves down, regained our composure and what a time to score just before half-time – that gave us the chance to change things and the players responded unbelievably.

“The ball in from Nicky for the second goal was brilliant and it’s a great finish from Rhys – and then we defended for our lives for the rest of the second half though we were still a threat on the counter-attack.

“It’s not been a magic wand. We tell the players we need everything they’ve got. We’ve work during the week to organise and make sure they know their jobs but then they have to give everything they’ve got – they’ve done that and it’s paying dividends.

“The fans were unbelievable again. They’ve been to Wrexham on Tuesday and then to London for an early kick-off today so I am just pleased we gave them more than we did the last time were on TV.”
