Hartlepool United Youth Team have been boosted this season with the addition of a brand new home and away kit sponsor.
Horden-based training provider Box Clever are the new sponsors of the Club’s Youth Team kit for 2017/18.
And Academy Manager John Hewitson was delighted to see the Youth Team receive the support of a new sponsor,
“I met Liam Dineen (Managing Director of Box Clever) in the summer when they sponsored a charity event I was part of.
“He told me to get in touch with him again if we needed any support with the Youth Team and I didn’t need asking twice.
“So I approached him over the Youth Team Kit Sponsorship and was delighted when he agreed.
“They were keen to try and help out their local Club, in particular the youth side of things, and we really are delighted to have them on board.
“With the Club having been relegated from the EFL, sponsorship for the Academy is more important than ever. We have had to tighten the purse strings this year and to have this new sponsorship in from a local company is a real boost for us all.
“We’re really happy that people are still coming forward to help us and would ask any other local companies who would be interested in supporting the Youth Development Programme at the Club to get in touch.”
