There was a spook-tacular start to our recent game against Sutton United when we invited youngsters to join us for a Halloween Party in the Family Zone before kick-off!
There was a great turnout of young fans and some brilliant (and scary!) costumes on display as we ghosted through the final hour ahead of the game.
H’Angus the Monkey even got in the spirit by donning a vampire outfit to join the festivities and he took part in a special game of Musical Statues with the young guests!
We even had some special prizes to give away for the best costumes, with Ethan Wood winning the top prize of a signed Pools shirt for his ‘Dead Dentist’ outfit.
In second place was Jessica Howlett who won two tickets to a game thanks to her colourful skeleton costume, while third place went to Lucy Barnes who dressed as a mad scientist and won a signed ball!
“Everyone looked brilliant and had put a lot of effort in to their costumes,” said Chairwoman Pam Duxbury.
“They all behaved really well, there was a fantastic atmosphere in there before the game and I think the kids were having so much fun even some of the parents couldn’t help joining in!”
There is some footage from the Halloween Party included in our Park Life feature v Sutton United, which is available to watch now on the Club’s YouTube Channel at www.youtube.com/officialhufc.
