Zero Tolerance Approach To Racism

26 October 2017

The Club had an incident of racism highlighted to our stewards at the Sutton United match on Saturday 21st October, which was dealt with swiftly by both matchday stewards and local police.

And Pools Chairwoman Pam Duxbury was keen to stress the Club’s zero-tolerance approach to discrimination,

“A number of supporters have voiced their growing concerns over racist abuse and, following efforts from the Club to increase the awareness of our matchday stewards, we were able to take the appropriate action,” Duxbury admitted.

“The Club operates a strict zero-tolerance approach to racism and we would encourage anyone who experiences anything like this to report it to a steward.

“Or if you would prefer to make your complaint anonymously, there is a Kick It Out app that you can download and report the incident in confidence.”
