We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Saturday’s game at Victoria Park.

Craig Harrison will hope to have both Liam Donnelly and Carl Magnay back available to him for the visit of Sutton United to The Vic this weekend.

Donnelly suffered a back spasm during the warm-up ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup win at South Shields so wasn’t risked while skipper Magnay sat out with a stomach problem for which he has undergone a scan.

Conor Newton is looking to step up his claims for a return to the squad following an ankle injury and Luke George is back to fitness after calf and hamstring problems.

Ryan Donaldson has had ankle surgery and will be out for around 12 weeks but Jake Cassidy is now looking to step up his recovery from a stress fracture in his foot.

Keith Watson’s knee injury is being managed by the medical team but it remains unclear how long he will be sidelined, while young defender Aaron Cunningham is out long-term after ankle surgery.

Sutton boss Paul Doswell could hand a start to Adam Coombes after he returned from injury as a substitute in last weekend’s 3-2 FA Cup win at Paulton Rovers.

Dean Beckwith is also closing in on full fitness and will press his claims for a recall but Ross Worner won’t be on the bus to the north-east after the keeper underwent knee surgery.
