Pools boss Craig Harrison was delighted after seeing his side hit another late winner to take all three points at Solihull Moors this afternoon.

The win sees Pools cap off a decent week, with seven points taken from three National League fixtures.

“It’s a very dramatic week we’ve had but it’s been a really productive week,” Harrison told Pools PlayerHD after the game.

“Two wins and a draw which has pushed us right up there and we’ve shown a real bit of consistency.

“We knew it was always going to be a cagey affair today, they had just changed their manager and they’re trying to get themselves out of trouble and the reaction from a new manager.

“Once we scored we took our foot of the pedal a little bit. It’s easy on the sidelines saying don’t drop off and keep on the front foot but naturally as a defender you drop deep to try and protect that 1-0. It’s just trying to get that mindset to go and push for 2 or 3.

“It’s never a penalty by the way, but to be fair Brodie has won it for his side and they’ve scored from it.

“But then you talk about the character and the togetherness and that will to win. We score on 90 minutes and it’s a fantastic feeling.

“The fans were fantastic again today as well, there were even more here today and they never cease to amaze me.

“They come out in their droves every week home and away and the players and staff thrive off it. They can be the twelfth man for us to really kick on and go and win football games and it really means a lot to everybody.”
