We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Tuesday evening’s National League meeting at Victoria Park.

Pools boss Craig Harrison will run the rule over Jake Cassidy following his return to action after a stress fracture in his foot.

The front man played ninety minutes against Aldershot Town on Saturday – his first full game since August – and will now be assessed ahead of the visit of FC Halifax Town.

Carl Magnay remains a little way short of fitness after hernia surgery so won’t be considered, while Keith Watson (knee), Ryan Donaldson and Aaron Cunningham (both ankle) are all still sidelined.

Town boss Billy Heath will be without influential defender Matty Brown through suspension, while winger Matty Kosylo is likely to be missing with a knee injury.

Front man Ben Tomlinson pulled his hamstring during Saturday’s defeat at Sutton United so is expected to be out for three months, while Harry Middleton is a doubt after needing five stitches in his leg.
