We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Saturday’s game at Meadow Park.

Pools boss Craig Harrison is set to be without defender Michael Ledger for this weekend’s game at Boreham Wood as he recovers from a broken nose sustained in the win at Torquay United.

Liam Donnelly is away on international duty with Northern Ireland Under-21s, whilst Carl Magnay is still recuperating after undergoing hernia surgery.

Conor Newton got just over an hour under his belt in the Reserves on Tuesday afternoon so he could come in to contention following a spell on the sidelines with bone bruising in his ankle, while front man Tomi Adeloye is back to fitness too.

Jake Cassidy is making good progress and could step up his training next week as he looks to overcome a stress fracture in his foot while Keith Watson is continuing to work his way back from a knee injury. Aaron Cunningham, Ryan Donaldson and James Thorne remain on the sidelines.

Boreham Wood boss Luke Garrard has no fresh injury concerns as he prepares his team to welcome Pools in the National League this weekend.

Angelo Balanta played over an hour during his comeback from injury in last Saturday’s FA Cup win over Blackpool and will hope to be handed another start against Pools.
