Pools Reserves return to Central League action on Tuesday afternoon when they make the trip to face Doncaster Rovers (2pm kick-off).
Having been beaten 3-0 at Grimsby Town in their opening fixture of the campaign, Matthew Bates’ men bounced back with a Durham County Challenge Cup win over Hebburn Town last time out.
Now they’ll be looking to build on that when they travel to take on Rovers who are also seeking a first league win of the season after losing in their first two outings of 2017/18.
Bates has named a predominantly young line-up for the game but there is a place for Conor Newton who is looking to build fitness after recovering from bone bruising in his ankle.
Lewis Hawkins and Jack Munns will also be given some game time against Rovers, while the Club is working on clearance for some trialists who could also feature.
We’ll have a full report and reaction here on the Official Website following the final whistle.
