We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup tie at The Globe Arena.

Craig Harrison looks set to be without Michael Ledger for this weekend’s trip to Morecambe after confirming that the defender broke his nose in Saturday’s win at Torquay United.

The centre-back was forced off during the second half at Plainmoor and will now undergo an operation on Monday with the hope he will be back available for the game against Boreham Wood.

Conor Newton has made good progress after an ankle injury and could come in to contention to face The Shrimps, while Devante Rodney is available again after serving a one-game suspension.

Jake Cassidy has been given the green light to step up his training but Saturday’s game will come too soon, with the front man targeting a return to action in the league next weekend.

Carl Magnay is sidelined for the next month after undergoing hernia surgery on Tuesday night, while Ryan Donaldson, Keith Watson, Tomi Adeloye, James Thorne and Aaron Cunningham are all still missing through injury.

Veteran Morecambe star Kevin Ellison is now free of suspension so is available to face Pools, while Max Muller returned from injury to face Forest Green last weekend so should be fine to play.

However, boss Jim Bentley will have to run the rule over front man Rhys Turner who has been nursing a groin injury in recent weeks.
