Pools star Scott Harrison has committed his future to the Club by signing a new contract at The Northern Gas and Power Stadium.
Boss Dave Jones has moved to reward the central defender with a fresh deal following his consistent run of form at the heart of the Pools back four in recent months.
Harrison has been an ever-present since Jones was appointed in January and has now started in every one of Pools’ last 18 outings in League Two.
The new deal marks the pinnacle of a huge turnaround in fortunes for the 23-year-old who had initially been released last summer before earning a contract after impressing during pre-season.
The Middlesbrough-born star joined Pools in February 2015 when his loan deal from Sunderland was made permanent and he made his 100th appearance for the Club in the win over Exeter City earlier this month.
