Pools have now confirmed further plans for pre-season with several friendlies set-up for Craig Harrison’s men throughout July.
The players report back for training in Durham on Monday morning when preparations for the 2017/18 campaign will kick-off and a schedule of pre-season games also lies in wait.
Billingham Town will form the opposition for the first run-out of pre-season when Pools make the trip to Bedford Terrace on Thursday 6th July (7.45pm kick-off).
The following week Pools will be on the road again when they travel to face Dunston UTS on Wednesday 12th July (7.45pm kick-off).
There will be a further away test on Tuesday 18th July (7.30pm kick-off) as Craig Harrison takes his team to face Blyth Spartans at Croft Park.
The Club had already announced a fixture with League One outfit Wigan Athletic on Tuesday 25th July (7.30pm kick-off) and that is the first confirmed home game of the pre-season schedule.
Harrison will then split his squad for the final weekend before the campaign begins when Pools will host a Middlesbrough XI at Victoria Park whilst also sending a team to play at Whitley Bay on Saturday 29th July (both 3pm kick-offs).
