Carl Magnay has committed his future to the Club by putting pen to paper on a brand new contract at Victoria Park.
The defender joined Pools in the summer of 2015 and has gone on to make 51 appearances since, fighting back from a cruciate ligament injury suffered last September to play a part in the season run-in.
Magnay was out of contract at the end of the last campaign but met for talks with new boss Craig Harrison recently and has now agreed fresh terms to remain at the Club.
The 28-year-old already has experience in the National League, reaching the 2014/15 Play-Off Final with Grimsby Town after joining them from Gateshead.
The news comes as another big boost to Harrison who completed his fifth signing of the summer on Wednesday morning with the acquisition of Magnay’s former Gateshead team-mate Ryan Donaldson.
