The very first Pools Business Network Forum at Victoria Park has been declared a success after a fantastic turn out at the Club on Thursday evening.
Chairman Pam Duxbury has been keen to open the doors at The Vic to local businesses and there were representatives from many town organisations in attendance at the inaugural event.
Organised in partnership with Utility Alliance and with support from Hartlepool College of Further Education, the Business Network Forum was a hive of activity and allowed businesses to discuss how they can best work with the Club and each other.
Duxbury kicked things off by making a short welcome speech to guests in the Maidens Restaurant, while they were also given the lowdown on what opportunities there were to show their support for the Club.
“I would like to thank Utility Alliance for partnering up and helping us launch this Forum,” said Duxbury, who was joined at the event by boss Craig Harrison along with players Luke George and Jack Munns.
“Hartlepool College of Further Education have offered a great deal of support too so it was fantastic to see it all come to fruition in such a positive way.
“Hopefully this can be the start of something really successful event at the Club because it was great to see so many new faces coming in to Victoria Park.
“I think the people who came enjoyed being able to look at our Hospitality Suite as perhaps they hadn’t been there in the past so were impressed with what they saw.
“From not knowing anyone in the business community, I think we have achieved a lot with the support of Utility Alliance and Hartlepool College of FE so we’re already looking forward to the next step.”
The next Pools Business Network Forum at The Vic will be held on Thursday 14th September at 6pm and if you’re interested in attending simply email Natalie on email@example.com
